How to care for your Moey garms

It's important to follow care instructions for your garments to ensure longevity and not to damage your handmade buys.

Washing instructions:
  • Handwash highly recommended
  • Machine wash (if permissible) on cold delicate or handwash cycle ONLY and place in a mesh laundry bag
  • Always wash with cold water to prevent shrinking or colour fading
  • Use mild detergent designed for delicate fabrics
Drying instructions:
  • Refrain from wringing out garments - gently squeeze
  • Airdry - lay the garment FLAT and avoid hanging as this can stretch the fabric
  • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent colour fading
Ironing instructions:
  • Low to medium heat always
  • Iron inside out to prevent direct heat exposure
  • Place a clean cloth between the iron and the garment to protect the fabric.

Sizing

Please read the sizing table below to gain an understanding of the measurements that will fit your size. I also recommend taking a tape measure and measuring yourself to prevent buying a Moey garment that won't fit you correctly. All designs are categorised in XSMALL ( UK 4-6), SMALL (UK 8-10), MEDIUM (UK 12-14), LARGE (UK16) and also include details such as the following:

Will fit these measurements (inches) = meaning the recommended minimum and maximum measurements the design will fit.

Length of top = the length of the top in inches either starting from the shoulder or the armpit, down to the bottom hem.

Materials stretchiness = knowing how much stretch the material has helps to determine what kind of fit it will be. I use a scale 1-5, 1 = not stretchy at all, 5 = very stretchy.
